A view about life
As parents, it’s very important to ensure that your child gets the best life possible. You need to raise your children responsibly and see to it that they turn out to be strong, successful individuals who can find their own path to success. A child’s upbringing usually dictates how they’re going to lead their entire life. Your child needs your utmost support and guidance in every walk of life.
It’s human nature to make misjudgments about others. Be it our family or friends, we often overanalyze situations and our mind often creates scenarios that might not always be true. While it may not apply to all situations and some assumptions are purely your gut telling you that things are amiss, most assumptions we make can be seriously damaging to the relationships we have with others.
This might seem slightly random, but the other day, I found myself in deep thought. Thinking about and trying to figure out situations and their solutions. While fully consumed in thought, I caught a moment to glance at my fingers and soon found myself drawing analogies to my hands. I thought to myself, if my hands were symbolic of a situation and my fingers, the solution, then wouldn’t that mean that each situation could have five completely different outcomes, absolutely unrelated to each other? What a fascinating observation!
While you may have other obligations, it’s never healthy to neglect your family. Especially when it comes to younger children. They require your support and guidance along every step of the way and if you choose to neglect them at an early age, you might just miss out on all the important firsts and be unable to create that bond.
Though we don’t realize it, our contact with nature is essential for us to lead healthy and happy lives. Did you know that spending time outdoors or participating in outdoor activities could actually aid with eyesight issues such as myopia? Or even that working out close to nature helps you feel less tired and people have fewer chances of suffering from obesity?
Movies can be a great source of emotional release and can usually be the perfect way to make sense of our daily struggles. While sad movies help us feel better and grateful for our lives at certain points, thrillers make us feel pleasure due to the release of cortisol and dopamine. However, unlike grown-ups, children under the age of 12 are able to separate information from their senses. That is why we probably don’t view things the same way. Not only does this apply to physical senses but also the information collected by their brains.
